Has anyone tried applying exemptions for ACCA fundamental papers from university? And how are the difficulty of the professional papers like?

How long do they take to process the exemption application?

And for the professional papers, it seems the passing rate is so low based on ACCA website :O

ACCA itself is definitely difficult and challenging. Put in the effort and study hard and I am sure you can pass it like many others do.
