Has anybody went for the investing course which used Gurmit Singh to market their course?

See above link --> seems like a value investing course. Think just nice Gurmit attended their course and they exploited him to have him market for them since he is a renowned name. What do you think of this course?

Avoid esp if you are a newbie. Flagged out low value stocks like Hartalega which does not fulfil value investing criteria, and now left with a falling knife. VI also recommend saxo which has exorbitant currency conversion fees which will hurt your P/L big time.

Unfortunately I did not come to this page and almost ended up paying for the full course. Placed a deposit which was only partially refundable. Agree with the rest that there are many upsells which is what I heard from another friend. Even after paying thousands of dollars for the course you still have to bring a few hundred dollars to the course to contribute as β€œprize money” for a supposedly investing game held during the course. In my opinion it is just run by a group of people whose main goal is not to educate but to exploit beginners. They use FOMO and scarcity mentality to get people to sign up during their preview sessions (I know cos’ I was there before). If you truly want to learn a proper framework I recommend Growth Investing Mastery (GIM). You can check out their free preview here before deciding if you want to commit:

Pls run for yoir life. I know at least 3 people and my friend knows more who bought 20, 30, 50k of his stocks before IPO listed on ASX and Bersa he locked them in and after they ipo they quickly sold out leaving the stock and investors to freefall

You might want to research more on what does the course provide.

Do they teach you financial or technical?

Which one are you keen to lear more.

And for the cost, this is up to your decision. If you have spare cash and can afford it then go ahead. If you can't afford it then go for cheaper alternatives which are many.

I personally attended another investment course many years ago in 2015 and am still able to continuously relearn and update myself about investment via their company.

Let me know if you want to know more. My email is [email protected]
I make videos about interesting stuff at youtube here
