For the latest DBS Altitude 4mpd on public transport promotion, do we have to pay for Grab directly via the card and not GrabPay in order to qualify for it?

Was a little confused after seeing this. I'm a DBS Altitude user and am curious if I need to pay for my Grab rides through the card or through GrabPay. Anyone with any experiences to share?

You need to pay for your rides through the Card itself, not through GrabPay. Set the card as the default payment and you should be fine.
