For SIA Rights Issue, if I just (13/4/2020) bought 600 of their shares on SCB, will I be entitled to their Rights Issue? Considering that I'm using a custodian account. And when is the Rights Issue? - Seedly

Hi anon, if you've bought SIA shares on 13 April, you will be entitled to its rights issue, provided it's approved by shareholders. Even though this is an old post, it should provide some info with regards to SCB's custodian account and rights issue: https://investmentmoats.com/portfolio/rights-issues-with-standard-chartered-bank-scb-online-trading/

SIA will be conducting an EGM on 30 April for shareholders to approve the cash call (more info: https://www.straitstimes.com/business/companies-markets/investors-can-vote-on-sia-fund-raising-at-virtual-egm).

The rights issue will go ex-rights on 6 May.

Hi Fiona, if you qualify during the time SIA is trading cum-rights, a letter should be sent to you on the application process after the record date.
