For sharing: learn the basis of investing in ETFs?

I am sure some of us have had questions about ETFs, its mechanics, liquidity, diversification, fees, etc.
here is one upcoming free educational event where you may ask live question.

after several years of investing, i find that those who are most sincere to teach for free are 1) sgx trainers, 2) robo advisories, even if you are not their customers.

avoid those expensive courses totally.

By the way, are there any particular SGX Academy sessions or trainers which you attended previously and found to be really helpful? I'm hoping they do re-run of the sessions from time to time, so I'd like to keep an eye on the really good ones :)

Is it really worth it to invest in VOO or other ETFs via a regular shares savings plan? Or is it better to invest a lump sum and hold it for the long term?

What are your thoughts/opinion on investing gold ETF, such as SPDR gold shares, vs gold solely in bullion? (ps: I am new to investing)
