For a 20 year old, I was advised to do growth investing over value investing. What are your thoughts?

Pros and cons for both? which one would be more advisable for me to pursue?

Depends on your risk appetite. Some people could not take the volatility of the price movements while others can take it. For me, if i was a 20 year old, i would invest in growth stocks as i am still very young and my stocks will have a long time to grow.
