Expat with Singapore bought Equity & Funds, leaving Singapore. How will this affect my investments?

Can an expat keep their equity and funds that they have bought in Singapore (e.g. via SaxoBank, DBS Vickers) once they have left Singapore? Or do they have to sell them off?

Thinking about specifically US based & SG based Equity and Funds
