If I subscribe as compared to buying a paper every day, I realised I at least save $3 or more, depending on the subscription I take up. However, are there any news sources I can go to without subscribing to Straits Times? since they are the main source of news in SG
I recently subscribed using Singtel Add-on. There is a promotion for $0.99/ month for 1st 3 months before $29+/ month. There is also no tie down in contract duration.
Currently enjoying it as I use my iPad pretty often! Save the hassle of buying the hardcopy from 7-11 and disposing the newspapers thereafter!
Since I moved out of my dad's place into my own, I no longer have access to ST. Been reading more of CNA, today, quite a bit of mothership, etc. Mostly via links on Facebook. What sort of news interest you?
No, I don't subscribe. Channel News Asia, Asiaone, Yahoo and other international websites.
Copy and paste on Google, sometimes the article is reposted in forums like hwz.
I read news from Channel News Asia & TODAY through both mobile app and their Facebook page
No. I prefer to read from multiple sources and international so that it is not biased.
Exactly you're right, you have other free news sources such as CNA, Today and internationally bloomberg and much more.
But if you prefer ST, it is still still worth to pay for the digital subscriptions as many has used to ST news :)
