No not for me. I'm not based here so there's no reason for me too, plus I'm topping up my parents RA acct so that's good enough for me!

It depends on your financial situation. The major considerations are whether you will need the cash one day, as the CPF is the least liquid of all, and whether you can get more than 4% returns in your own investments.

While you may get income tax relief and a guaranteed interest rate of 4% per annum by putting money into your CPF MediSave account, you need to fully understand the repercussion associated with it.

For instance, MediSave itself imposes various limitations on the use of the monies for every situation, e.g. scans, inpatient treatment.

With this in mind, I don't feel that the top-up is worth its value. However, this is my personal opinion based on my current situation. In any case, different individuals require different planning at each point, hence the most accurate way is to do it via comprehensive financial planning.
