I read about Ronald Read in the US where he was worth nearly US$8 million upon his death. He was just a regular guy who worked as a gas station attendant and janitor. Wondering if you know of such stories in Singapore? What are some lessons you can draw from such people?

I can't say I know of anyone like that in Singapore but some lessons to take away from this story are:
Invest in what you understand
Reinvest dividends
Diversify across companies and industries
Read widely and regularly
Live below your means
Keep your wealth secret
Truly an amazing story of an amazing man, thanks for sharing!βββ
