Currently this is the 3 cards you can consider:

UOB Prvi - 1.4 MPD for general spending

UOB Preferred Visa - 4MPD for contactless payment, capped at $1K

OCBC 90oN Card - 4MPD for overseas spending, no cap until 29 Feb 2020

I just signed up for Citi Rewards Visa - Great 4mpd for up to 1k spend per month, and long expiry dates.

I would take the citi rewards visa as the rolling 5 year expiry will be useful to accumulate a critical mass of miles, but you must keep track of the expiry date and redeem them before they expire!

It's also within the Citibank ecosystem, so you don't affect your new to bank status for other cards if there should be a fantastic sign up offer on another card down the road.

Many cards offering 4mpd for spending in selected categories as others have pointed out.

For generic spending, you may want to look at uob prvi visa or master for the higher mileage (1.4mpd), especially if each spend is typically above $30

You can try citi rewards visa or uob preferred platinum. Especially with grabpay becoming a super app, the ability to hack miles at 4mpd via the 2 mentioned cards is now open to a lot of possibilities

I'm currently considering DBS Woman's World! It has 4mpd for online spending. The name is misleading - anybody can apply for the card as long as you meet the minimum income requirement!

It depends on your spending habit.

For general cards, consider Citi PremierMiles at 1.2 miles per dollar. For stacks in $5, consider UOB PRIV Miles @ 1.4 miles per dollar.

For online spending, consider Citi Rewards @ 4 miles per dollar, capped at $1k monthly.

For shopping and entertainment, consider OCBC 90°N CARD @ 4 miles per dollar.

Here is everything about me and what I do best.

I think i have seen my peers using UOB PPV for apple pay.

It gets you 4mpd for apple pay spend.

However, it is also unclear when they will change the terms as they always tend to do as well.

All the best!
