Why not consider BTO? Resale HDB is not worth buying as it depreciate overtime and it’s lease for 99-yrs and not owned

One important criterion is also to look for any signs of splashed paintings or paint patches around the resale unit. If possible, ask the neighbours for any information on possible loanshark harassments in order to save future nightmares.

Yet another which I can think of is to check whether your future neighbours are those noisy types.
