Are there recommended Introductory Courses for insurance and finance advisers?

Hi all, I like to explore other career options, but currently not in finance industry. Seems like finance is interesting. What intro courses are there suitable for mid career switchers? Or are there companies willing to take in newbies? Just want to make sure that I am really in for it before making the career jump.

Most insurance agencies will take you in as long as you show that you're in it for the long haul, willing to learn and apply the concepts taught, stay and grow with them throughout your career. They will sponsor your CMFAS papers, which you can use to gauge your interest in this sector.

Finance is a pretty broad sector. Best that you speak to several people in your network to get an idea of what it is about. And you can probably identify what you will be good at. Those who have no networks will start from the ground up, and we all work our way up over the years.
