Generally when making a choice, you may wish to evalaute on whether you are comfortable with authorised workshops (and location), or if you prefer to go to your trusted mechanic. Personally, this is one of the first consideration for my own policy. Other than that, most of the benefits are pretty standard (unless we scrutinise one by one).

On the whole, you need to evaluate whether you are capable to settle all the potential paperwork on your own and whether you need advice. If so, you may wish to work with your agent or to look for one.

This is because when an incident arise, you will be able to seek advice from someone experienced. Accordingly, this gives you a peace of mind and allows you to become more confident in the choice that you make.
