Has anyone applied for the CitiLazada card? If yes, why? It doesn't seem like it benefit the card holder much unless he/she lives on lazada..... plus it doesn't apply to redmart on Lazada so what's the point?? Groceries is such a big area so why wouldn't it be included in the tncs? am i missing something here? or is it just a bad card....

Even if you're a huge fan of lazada, there's not much point in the card. it earns you 4.8 miles per dollar (capped at $833 per month) until end Feb 2020, after which it's 4 mpd.
You can already earn 4 mpd on Lazada with DBS WWMC + Citi Rewards Visa, and that would include Redmart too!
The other problem is that Citi points do not pool, so even if you get this card just for Lazada, you'd have to spend a significant amount to hit the minimum 25,000 points block to transfer to KrisFlyer/other FFPs.
This is a very underwhelming new card- get a Citi Rewards Visa instead, it's a lot more useful.āāā

I have been blindly using The CitiLazada Card for my Lazada purchases because I had assumed it will be the best deal, given the name of the credit card.

But I realised if using as a cashback/cash rebate card, even with the 10x Reward Points for Lazada purchases (which excludes RedMart), it translates to about 2.27% cashback since $44 = 440 Reward Points = $1 rebate. That's actually not particularly high. In fact, if I know that I will consistently spend $500/month on online shopping, then even the Citibank SMRT card will give a higher cash rebate of 5%!
