Wwyd if your spouse wants to quit their high salary job. My spouse earns 3x more than me and we are still young w/o kids yet. We still have 30more yrs till retirement. I’m worried about our future.

I want to be supportive but very realistic it will be tough to find another job that matches the salary. i don't earn a lot and im worried it will affect our future.

Adjust and manage along the way. learning to let go is one option if it's ok. if not maintain and keep going.

Probably one of those moments to discuss as a couple, how badly your spouse wants to leave the job and whether as a family you guys can handle the interim period. If the high paying job is too stressful for her or workplace too toxic, i dont think staying on would be an option.
