Would you recommend your own Financial Advisor to friends or family even if they aren't looking for one? If yes, how would you bring this up?

I see people I know need help with money and I think my advisor can help them out as they helped me, but I'm not sure if this is taboo or not something I should bring up in case they feel like I kaypoh. How will you bring this up to them in a nice way? Should I invite my FA down for dinner or something with them?

    What are your thoughts?

I would only bring this up if they are the one who initiate this topic. I don’t want ppl to feel that im getting commission or anything by introducing my agent to them. By asking your agent to have dinner together, I find it quite awkward.

You need to speak to your friends first. Find out if they want to get help to improve their finances or their insurance coverage. Only when they are interested, than you can suggest introducing your advisor and share why your advisor helped you.

The last thing you want is to lose your friend by randomly suddenly introduce your advisor.
