Would you recommend your own Financial Advisor to friends or family even if they aren't looking for one? If yes, how would you bring this up?

I see people I know need help with money and I think my advisor can help them out as they helped me, but I'm not sure if this is taboo or not something I should bring up in case they feel like I kaypoh. How will you bring this up to them in a nice way? Should I invite my FA down for dinner or something with them?

Yes, I would only recommend if this is a topic was brought up by them. I actually reccomended my agent to friends before - but I always tell them to talk to them and don't need to feel obliged to buy anything (also what works for me may not work for you).

I would only bring this up if they are the one who initiate this topic. I don’t want ppl to feel that im getting commission or anything by introducing my agent to them. By asking your agent to have dinner together, I find it quite awkward.

You need to speak to your friends first. Find out if they want to get help to improve their finances...
