I keep it, but out of convience, and also such that I know I will always have cash at home if I ever need it.

Bank in. not much use for cash nowadays.

I keep it in my drawer and take it out to sniff the new note fragrance once it a while!

Buy and hold bitcoin at the right time and store it safely in a hardware wallet with its secret mnemonic phrases in a very safe place. That is exactly what I did last year when I swapped all the old notes at a bank counter that my late mother left behind more than a decade ago. I was nostalgic about those old notes but trust me, leaving money in an ordinary bank account is asking for trouble! The interest is so low and you lose big time due to losing purchasing power to massive inflation. I bought bitcoin with that money at around $28,000 and today (less than 1 year), bitcoin is worth $52,000 due to the massive favorable value of bitcoin, almost doubling my money. I own larger bitcoin holdings buying when it dropped below $20,000-$29,000. Bitcoin is a great store of value but do not buy it when it is above $60-$75k per BTC.

Another safe alternative place to store excess money is to deposit it into Trust Bank Limited Savings account. You can sign up one instantly using SingPass MyInfo for free, using my referral code. You and I will both get $10 NTUC voucher each. You will get an additional welcome gift immediately after signup with my referral code:

Trust Bank is a joint partnership digital bank between Standard Chartered Bank and FairPrice and is licensed by MAS; SDIC guarantees and insures your savings up to $75,000 deposits. There are no fees and no lock-in period for interest payment, calculated and accrued daily. It pays 1.5%pa as a baseline and an additional 0.5%pa on the first $100k average daily balance. I deposited $100k recently and the digital bank even gave me a $25 NTUC cash voucher which I can use anytime. I opened another account for my spouse and did the same thing. We both got a total value of $50 NTUC cash voucher. Hurry before this promotion ends.

I get approximately $5 in interest during this test period and I am happy to withdraw almost all my money from DBS/POSB, UOB and OCBC which pays me almost nothing over a year. Plus, you get a free physical debit card shipped to your home and you can control access to it anytime anywhere using the Trust Bank mobile app. Again, no yearly maintenance fees and no minimum sum to keep with Trust Bank. What a deal I found and researched.

As always, good stufss do not last very long. Take positive actions to safeguard your future and do not let your money erode over time. I believe that you cannot get anything better in Singapore with these low-risk recommendations.
