My mom is in her 40s so she's automatically move from Eldershield to Careshield Life with the option to opt back into Eldershield.
She also has an Eldershield Supplement plan bought 3 years ago that she can keep even though she's getting on Careshield Life.
The new Careshield Life supplementc plans aren't released yet, but if they're equally good, I'll prbably get her to top up even more cover for Long Term Care. It's already estimated that nursing costs will quadruple in 25-40 years.
And due to the unique scenario that when she's in her 70s, I'll be close to retirement as well, so this cost will be more even more important for me to keep an eye on.
