With Singapore's economy expected to expand between 5% – 5.9% in 2021, will you be holding your STI ETF for longer?

Wondering if I should sell off my STI ETF after dividends in January or wait till it peaks?

Lol STI is definitely one of the worst thing to hold onto.

The more i look at STI and US index, the more i suspect there is no corelation between market performance and reality. US GDP was expected to shrink in 2020 and grow by 4% in 2021. How does that translate to a 12% ytd performance in S&P500? I don't know.

I have some other suspicious why STI has underperformed. The usual critics STI is small economy, no tech stocks, not diversified, does not seem to hold if we compare with other country indices.

Anyway, my advise is, do what you are comfortable with. Don't FOMO just because everyone is in or out of something.
