With analysts expecting the benchmark STI to land between 3,000 and 3,200 points at the end of 2021, are you holding or selling your STI?

Though reaching back to 3000 and 3200 sounds tempting, I personally canโ€™t afford to hold that long, are you holding or selling?

Take analysts' reports with a grain of salt. Same with bloggers, influencers, "wealth gurus". In fact, I would say, disregard all "wealth gurus" opinions.

No one will care for your money more than you do.

Short answer to you: know your own risk/reward. If you think you have better opportunity, you can consider to sell and redeploy the money.

Personally, I am still holding and will add if the opportunity comes. Because I am diversified. In case STI (or for that matter, S&P500) crashes to 0, I still have my other investments. Having said that, I am not optimistic about Singapore in general (not just on STI, but among other things).

Hope this helps.
