Will my original IFA agent changed automatically after AXA Insurance is sold to another co, assuming the news is true?

Hi! Do you have the website for this news? The only one I could find online was from Aug 2020 which also says the decision was cancelled.

Hi Anon!
Assuming that the news were true, be rest assured that your agent will most likely be still your current servicing agent, even though is an IFA agent.
Usually, when an insurance company buyover happens, another insurance company will definitely be taking over the bought over company's products and most probable case, the agents as well. (Aviva and Singlife example)
For your concerns, be rest assured that your current adviser will still be able to service you.
I hope that this addresses your queries.
