Will decentralised finance result in some roles in the current finance industry becoming irrelevant?

Good morning, I've recently come across this topic of Decentralised Finance. As someone who is looking to major in Finance starting next year I'm wondering is my future at risk?

Decentralised finance like crypto will still take years before it will be universally accepted. In the meantime, finance industry will still be critical in moving the global economy. In fact, people in financial sectors are not turning a blind eye to decentralised finance as well, with firms like JP Morgan also venturing into crypto funds. Whatever it is, stay relevant so as to always ride whatever wave is coming your way.
