Why is the Buying Power in DBS Vickers so low?

Let's say I put $100k to Multi Currency Account and my Buying Power are as follows, Buy Limit -$200k, Sell Limit $30k. What I don't understand is that I can Buy more shares but I'm unable to sell all my shares back? Why?

Why is the Selling limit so low? Meaning to say If I were to buy a stock worth of $150k, I'm only allowed to sell stock worth of only up to $30k. Anyone care to explain?

Seems like you have a "contra" type of account opened with DBS Vickers. From what I know, you can increase the "Buy" and "Sell" limit by 2 ways:

  1. Transfer more money into DBS Vickers directly. (maintaining in your DBS account do not count).

  2. Make more trades.
