Why is Herbalife doing well despite being an MLM?

I always thought Herbalife was just another health brand, until I worked part time for them once for an event and found out they function on a pyramid scheme.

Every corporation is pyramid scheme, not only MLM. Where top level earn more than us. CEO earn more than manager, manager earn more than clerk...

MLM is only a buisness model. By the way herbal life is listed in NSYE.
