Should schools start to teach things like

There are many life skills that cannot be learnt from the textbook. Social skills, management skills and many character related life lessons are best learnt through a combination of real life practice and theory. Without which, it will be like learning martial arts without sparring or entering a real fight.
Money lessons is one of them. It will be difficult for a teenager to see the importance of these things if everything is provided for and they are not earning money yet. Also, there are many models to how people manage their money. There is no one size fits all kind of model and we got to come out with our own that fits our circumstance.

Schools dun teach smoking and drink alcohol. pple still smoke anyway.
schools dun teach buy toto buy 4D. pple still buy anyway.
schools dun teach humping at staircase landing, in cars, ar parks. pple still do it anyway.
thing is pple will do it anyway if it appeals to them whether schools teach them anot. personally i dun like alot of gov policies, but dat doesnt mean we shud simply listen to robert kiyosaki and other fake gurus and take everything they say as truth. kiyosaki wants to sell u his courses, of course he will say things to make more pple feel shiok they also can be investors.
think abt it, it is in the interests of gov to increase labour. but why they not ban abortion? why teach contraceptives?
more important than financial literacy is i think is to make ppl hav good jobs and wages so dat there is not even a need to invest.
edit: i remb there is one wealth guru in singapore also say gov want to keep us working class, dun want us to get rich. but guess what? she still send her daughter to school and to university. what does dat say?βββ
