Why do we keep a warchest if time in market is important? Shouldn't we be investing it asap into the markets and instead of accumulating and waiting?

Because market is like rubber band. Normal time just bounce , bounce ,bounce.
When there is a sudden drop, it will sudden snap back. Dont know if u get what i mean....😆

No one way around it, some prefer to keep a portion such that when there is a huge market drawdown, they can go big at discounted prices while others prefer DCA time in the market.
