Why do i keep facing this error message on when buying USA stocks on tiger brokers: “Your available fund or buying buying power is insufficient”?

I have about USD2000 available cash in my account and have no issue purchasing SGD stocks. I hope someone could help me on this. Thanks

You can go to the Asset tab in Tiger Windows app to check your USD balance:

For Tiger mobile app, go to Me - Tiger Account - Prime - Securities Segment to see your cash holdings.

You need to convert your SGD into USD before you can purchase US stocks. Tiger displays the account balance in USD by default, but that does not mean that you have USD in your account.
