Why are the S&P 500 and Dimensional Fund for Endowus for CPF Investment more popular?

I'm looking at Endowus for CPF Investment. As I am reading through reviews and comments, may I know why SP500 and Dimensional Fund are more popular?

Lion Global Infinity U.S 500 Stock Index, Lion Global Infinity Global Stock Index, Dimensional Fund seem to be more popular as I am reading thru. Other fund not so much said or reviewed. Is there any reasons that I may miss out? Thanks.

Noob at Idiots Invest

Endowus' philosophy is (amongsts other things) about reducing cost, market efficiency and passive investing. The Dimensional and Lion Global funds you mentioned are core elements of most of their portfolios for those same reasons. Investors who invest with Endowus obviously hold similar convictions and thus will also recommend funds which abide by these principles.

Because it's low cost and passive, dimensional funds popular for their philosophy in value investing + low cost. Lionglobal US500 is passive + low cost.
