Why are some of the SGX stocks don't seem to trade every trading day ? Also small stocks seem to have much higher dividend but it seems the volume is still low, what's the reason?
These thinly traded stocks are usually smaller companies. It could be because of bad/no company reputation an/or bad future propespects. They may offer higher dividend as a mean to attract investors.
