Is it better to get insurance through an agent or buy online? I currently have an AIA Accident & Hospitalisation Insurance but discovered that some insurance companies (FWD, Aviva,) offers almost the same coverage as the one I have?

Which is the better option to buy insurance - Insurance agent vs financial advisor vs bank? Planning to get insurance and wondering how to go about it?
