Comfortable more than the other. I left a comfy job for more money but you always will have some regrets during the adjustment period. Must know your own career and WLB goals well.

Never underestimate the kind of mental damage that politics and overwork can do to your well-being. This is unquantifiable.
If you translate that into more doctor visits or more money spent to make yoursel feel better, then on a net-net dollar value basis actually present comfortable job "pays" you more.
