I’d still look at strong, boring names with long runway, like big tech (msft, google), or even semicon plays (nvda, tsmc) if you believe AI trend is long term. DBS still quite solid if you want something more stable with dividends.
But end of the day, more important is whether you’re comfortable holding long term + not just chasing hype 😅

I think is more important to look at portfolio level, it must withstand market cycle.
During sideway or down cycle dividend paying stock usually perform better. Eg. If a stock price drop 10%, it pay 5% yield, total loss is 5% compare to stock that dont pay a dividend.
During bull cycle, big tech usually perform better.
Thus, currently is a down cycle. Is better to buy more big tech. Because you are now able to own high quality tech names at a good price.
