Hahaha if you are free to google SPH deeply, you will realise that as a business, they are backed by the local banks, telcos, universities etc. Finances wise, they will never go down. Simply put, Singapore will not let that happen.
But if you are talking about print being taken over, then yes. But they are doing a lot of things to expand their expertise - they fund startups, have accelerator programmes, and are going to digital/online spheres too

Generally, I do not read much news unless there are some major events happening like the COVID19 situation now. However, I do glance through news feeds, titles and see what people share on social media.

What print?
Stop following the news and create your own news. Be an independent thinker and you will see what others cannot. Check if you’re right by making claims and having skin in the game before they appear on the news.
SPH is an important business for reasons I won’t go into here.

Mainly via Facebook, either shared by friends or the communities joined. SPH has definitely been impacted by digitalization, and the company has been diversifying towards REITs. Eventually other sources of revenue might become the key drivers for their business, while print becomes a cash cow.
