Whenever I spend / splurge on something, I put more money into Robo-savings / investment. So that I won’t face the regret of “if only I have invested this amount xxx” etc

We can control our spending by putting more on investment as we won't have enough $ to spend after putting money to invest.

As to spend more then put more money into investment. Think of the long term purposes. Are you continue to have this habit to spend more then put more into investment or spend less n put in investment. Which outcome will turn out better. As we will get old one day, don't regret when no money when old as u don want to hog ur life in work when old. Can retire when old n do some activities u long to do that u can't or don hv the chance do before.

Looks like a "one man's meat is another man's poison" situation. It could work for one party if they are working towards investment but do not have the discipline to do so
