When analyzing REITS, other than Fundamental and Technical Analysis, I realize that news reports also play a part. Can you advise what news I should keep a lookout for?

For example, company announcement news on accretive acquisitions or dividends would affect the price. Another example I realized is how global news on disease outbreaks have effect on hospitality reits negatively, but healthcare reits positively.

If u r trading REITS then all these news will affect you. But if u r buying REITS for long term dividend (as retirement fund for example), then this kind of news should not hurt u in long run.
