What is your main stock analysis strategy? Do you largely focus on a fundamental analysis or a technical analysis?

  1. Fundamental Analysis
This is where you look at the financial statements of a company and determine the health of the company.

  2. Technical Analysis.
This is where you read the charts, and determine your risk management entry point and exit strategy.

Fundamental, if nothing is wrong then don't need to panic.

When a person uses TA more, it is as good as telling me he has a focus more on Timing the market.

FA; financial analysis, i will call it..... gd to do if u wanna ensure the "health" status of the co. U r investing in is gd enough for u to take the leap!

For investment, both are as important compared to the other.

Fundamental analysis to select only fundamentally strong companies.

But even the best company can be a horrible investment if you paid too high a price for it.

Then, use intrinsic valuation and technical analysis to get these stocks and reasonable and attractive prices.

Hi there,

The key thing is to use both and to understand that the financial health of the company matters more than timing the market. technical analysis does involve a certain level of timing. That said, you might want to enter at a timing where there's a correction or the market enter into a bear market. Bear Markets in general are rarer than bulls so Entering at a favourable price is one thing but I'll highly advice against waiting for the lowest dip. Also, Investment by nature is long term so having a long term horizon will help to avoid a 'wait for the best price' mindset.
