What would you if you saved & worked hard to amass $$ but your parents are not good with $$ and will anyhow spend. In the end they will come back and ask you for $ and i'll feel bad for not giving.

I've already given them allowance and once in a while buy stuff for them since i'm living with them. what should i do?

Don't feel bad.

Think of it as money you're saving for them in case they ever need it.

Hard to comment without knowing details of allowance, their expenses, whether u living w them etc.

If u want to help them, have to teach them to finance plan/spend wisely + monitor them but not over control... Or put aside some money for them (save a percentage of your income for them) That's how I do.
