As more of us become digital natives, it seems that e-commerce will soon become the norm. Do you have any personal insights to share with regards to what Retail or E-commerce will mean in the next 5-10 years?

If we observe what is happening in USA and China, the e-commerce scene has been monopolised by the Apex Predator known as Amazon, Walmart, Alibaba and jD.com. In SEA, there should be a dominant ecommerce marketplace within the next few years. A lot of retailers like me are listed on our own websites and all the various marketplaces now. Sooner or later, we will have to devote resources to whichever bring us the highest revenue. As we can see on amazon.com right now, they have all the data of all the sellers and they have actually created their own branded products to compete against these sellers themselves. That will mean another game changer then.
