What should I look out for in my first job?

I am not passionate about anything so there's no preferred industry that I want to work in and I'm fine with any job that is not manual work. I graduated last year from a local university with mediocre grades and have been job searching for 8 months. I have a job offer that is around $3k but I'm just wondering if it's a fair justification. I don't have many expectations about pay since I do not have the skills in the first place. What should I look out for in my first career?

I was the same like u...I don't have any preferred Industry, I just want to faster start work to get the income in. like you said, we don't have experience And thus we try to take any job that is available for us. 8 months without income...is not good. You have study loan to service?

Go get some experience and hands on skill. Build up your network with your colleagues, and friends. sometimes it is pivotal to have network..you might get job opportunities.

fresh Grad pay around 3k is normal.. 1 thing to take note is there is no perfect job. Try different jobs and see which sector you like ..

good luck in your job hunting

If you are not too sure what you are looking for, perhaps look for a career that matches you skillset or your field of study in university. 3k for a fresh grad isn't too bad, I would suggest to look beyond the pay. A first job is mainly used to gain experience and learn as much as you can. There are companies that offers graduate programmes, you can try and apply for those to get exposure to the different departments. Try and look for company that has good career progression!

All the best, good luck!

As someone that just graduated recently, I feel that a good boss, a supportive environment and a wil...
