What's your opinion on buying US total market ETF and Global total market ETF during current economic condition?

The above 2 ETF should provide enough diversification in equities. When economy eventually turns bull again, then buy in gold and bonds to finally have a balanced portfolio.

I have both in my RSP, IVV and VT. So I just buy with same amount every month, leave it there for 15 years to work it's own magic.
