I’m thinking of switching to Tuas power, what is the procedure? And will my SP deposit of $100 automatic transfer over?

Hmmm... that depends if you are coming over from SP or another electricity retailer.
If you are transferring over from SP
Start by browsing through the plans and promotion available via www.savewithtuas.com or our Facebook post.
Get read your SP bills so and choose to either sign up online at www.savewithtuas.com or call us at 68386888.
Security Deposit will continue to say with SP, there is not additional required.
If you are transferring from another electricity retailer
You will need to know your contract expiry with your existing retailer to sign up.
Start by browsing through the plans and promotion available via www.savewithtuas.com or our Facebook post.
Get read your SP bills so and choose to either sign up online at www.savewithtuas.com or call us at 68386888.
Customers with another retailer not billed by SP will be billed 65% of the standard SP Security deposit (SD) collection in their first bill after transfer. The amount varies based on customer's residency, their household type and payment type. Do refer to this link for the SP SD collection details - https://www.spgroup.com.sg/faq?getQues=security...
An account owned by a Singaporean or Permanent resident, paying by GIRO, staying in a 3, 4, 5 room HDB will normally pay $70 for entire SP security deposit. Therefore 65% of the standard amount will be about $45.50. These deposit belongs to a customer and will be offset for their final bill when their account is closed. Should there be any excess after offsetting final bill SP will return to the customer.
