What is the MCC code for App Store and Google Play in-app purchases?

Even the idea of buying games kind of puts me off. I don’t get why I should pay for games. What if I don’t like it? I guess that’s exactly why sites like Playhop exist — for people like me, with a huge collection of browser games. Sure, it’s not as cool as some brand new video game with a detailed plot and amazing graphics, but at least you don’t have to pay, and a game’s a game.

Generally, I believe app store purchases/in-app purchases count as online spending. I'm not sure of the exact MCCs, or if there is a way to check the exact MCC for specific apps. If you're feeling uncertain and don't want to make any "wasted" transactions, I guess the only way to know for sure is to make a small purchase on the intended app and see whether it earns cashback.
