What happened to Shopback?

Hi,

I have always using my credit card that is link to Shopback to collect cashback. But few month ago, I realized most of my transaction on Shopback is pending status and not moving at all.

What even worst I check with their support, I was told to spend another amount on that shop to receive the cashback. Does this make sense to you that the transaction is already stated in Shopback why do I have to spend another amount in order to receive the cashback?

Anyone have the same experience?

For Shopback Go, they changed the policy some time ago.

Instead of getting the cashback validated after each transaction, the cashback is now validated only upon the next visit/spend.

The rationale Shopback gave was that to encourage repeat visits to support the merchant/business.

It is the same for Fave as well.
