I use Gemini most often but will go along with Coinbase because it has given me unexpected joys on various occasions.
β
3 Pros
1) Its Learn and Earn program has not only helped me earn several altcoins easily, but also enabled me to convert them to BTC (and then transfer to my Gemini account) and facilitate the encashing process. I cannot believe that Coinbase has neither imposed a minimum withdrawal limit nor charged exorbitant transfaction fees for such a stellar service.
2) It allows me to earn crypto just by inputting the email address I registered with Coinbase. This is the case for an airdrop in which I receive one SHIB token every day through Telegram. This also seems to be the case when I wish to withdraw my earnings from this faucet called Faucet Gamers here (https://faucetgamers.com/?mref=741)
3) I haven't exploited this feature yet but I love its payback feature of $10 worth of Bitcoin for an investor's 4th recurring buy. It makes me want to pull up my socks so that I can activate my crypto funds from elsewhere and channel them into Coinbase and benefit from its payback system.
β
3 Cons
1) Doesn't allow me to convert crypto to fiat and transfer fiat into my old-school banking account. Makes it difficult for me to have instant gratification!
2) Its trading fee is said to be prohibitively high.
3) Its portfolio dashboard is not prominently displayed. I have to scroll down to the middle of the page before I can view the amount of my digital assets portfolio.
