Job hopping sounds like you don't have a plan.
If you are moving around job which you have a plan. Then that is not job hopping.
Do you plan your income progression? Plan your career advancement, plan your skills advancement.
Please do so as a young person or as an older person. Otherwise at 40, job hopping means reducing salary every time you switch.

Is the new norm for the millenial, very common nowadays. As long as the potential company think is ok and still hire the job hopper, it is no issue. Just very tiring to job hop often, the whole process of finding a new job is tedious, and difficult to build up relationship and friendships within work place.
