What coverage do I need for my interior renovation company?

I'd like to protect my employees against injuries, and my business against liability if I damage people's property while working.

You'll need Contractors All Risk Insurance. In many contracts that you'll take on, your clients will often require you to carry Public Liability coverage. Contractor's All Risk Insurance is a broader form of Public Liability coverage. It covers accidental damage to other people's property (e.g. if you damage a neighbouring property while renovating your client's house), and also covers accidental damage to your client's property (e.g. you accidentally damage some walls during the reno).

For employee injuries, carry Work Injury Compensation Insurance. This will cover work-related COVID, and work-related injuries/diseases.
