I am thinking of HSBC advance account and Citi Priority. Does anyone knows what constitutes to the AUM (stocks and cash)? Or must be fresh funds?
For stocks, does those held in CDP goes towards the calculation of AUM?

Usually its your cash deposits + unit trusts (sold by that bank) + insurance (from that bank). Some bank consider outstanding home loan too.
For referral gift or cash gift promo, need fresh funds.
CDP not counted because the bank cannot touch them. Only if you transfer into the bank custody for collateral for margin.
