TD Ameritrade, f.ex. (with at least for Europe resident persons)

0.00 USD trading fees (U.S. stocks, U.S. ETFs)

0.00 USD account maintenance and quarterly paper statement + trade conirmation fees.

can't be better ... (though: ... maybe some day we will get paid for buying stocks by the brokerage when f.ex. exposed to advertizing online)
