What are your thoughts of installing solar and EV charging in Singapore?

Asked this in another channel (random) but felt that channel had a lot of spam so I decided to post here too.

Heard solar and EV is getting cheaper and cheaper, but it seems like the govt. is looking to impose more charges. (eg. the $750 EV first time charge.)

Just wanted to ask for you guys' thoughts and whether it's still worth it or not

Installing solar panels can be a smart move if it means cutting down on those electricity bills in the long haul. If you're on the fence about whether it's worth it for your place, you might want to give this link a go: https://simulator.getsolar.ai/. It could give you some helpful insights to make the call on whether going solar is the way to go for your home.

Just like other policies, they want to hook you in, then later slowly take back.

Not necessarily bad or wrong.

But from a long term sustainability aspect, EV is the way to go.

Support new tech that's suppose to make our lives more efficient...
